This weeks theme will be PRAYER... Did you know that God is willing to give you what you ask for, so long as you are faithful to him? Have you ever thought about the privilege we have to be able to speak to God through prayer? Matthew 7 speaks about the effectiveness of prayer and what God can do if we take advantage of it! Read Matthew 7:7-11 and answer the following question either through email or in the comments. Have you had an experience where you prayed to God and He answered your prayers? We would love to know! Haz pensado alguno vez que gran privilegio tenemos al poder hablar con Dios por medio de la oración? Mateo 7 habla de la importancia de la oración y las cosas que Dios hace si nosotros aprovechamos de ese privilegio.

Hello! This is Claudia. Yes, I would like to share an experience of mine! I often find myself deperate for help when it comes to school tasks, like tests and projects. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with my schoolwork, and I find no other option than to put everything in the Lord's hands! I often say a quick prayer right before I take a test, and let's just say that God always does wonders. :)

I agree so much with that passage. On Dec 2007 I lost my job and decided to go to school. I asked God that if it was his will that I would be able to go without worying about my financial situation and that everything would go accordingly to his plans and not mine. We are in April 2009 and im still in school doing very well and planning to attend lbcc this summer, til this day i still have no job, but God has been by myside helping me get by with my bills and even having a little spending money for myself. GOD truly is an AWESOME GOD!!!

ReplyDeletelol this is something really small but then again it was whoa to me.... it was Tuesday, and I didnt have enough gas to get home... I had left my wallet at home,and well I recycle and I remembered that i had some cans in my trunk, and the recycling place was very close to me so I said to myself "hmmm... I normally get like $8-15, its not much but something will do, God just double it please" i really honestly didnt close my eyes or got on my knees but God knew my need.... so here i am i get to the place, I seperated the plastic from the glss and cans. The guy takes my stuff to weight it and to my surprise when he gives me the receipt to claim my money it turns out to be that i was going to get $69. I was in total shock because I really didnt have a lot. I had taken more before but never have gotten that much. I was able to fill up my tank... and even get some starbucks lol:) but oh man that is something i will never forget. I've taken my cans (more than what i had that day) but it never goes over $15 =( thats why i truly believe that God had something to do with this... =D

Well, I have testimony of prayer myself. As some of you guys know I was out of a job for like 3 months. I would look and go to different interviews, but noting really would come out. Or it had variable schedules that did not comply with skool or church. So I decided one day to start going to "El Circulo de Oracion" everyday I was there for about maybe a week and a half. I prayed and asked God for a good paying job, somewhere it did not conflict with the schedule at school or church and off course did not required to work on the weekends. To my surprise he answer my prayer within a week or so. I received a phone call from a lawyer that he needed a file clerk part time. Everything was good. I was amazed on how God really answers prayers if you really truly ask with all your heart and humbleness. Next thing you I was interview they didnt ask for references, work history, nor drug test. Not only that, but I didnt even last as file clerk a month. They have now promoted me to being an attorneys assistant and Im working full time and getting paid more than what I started with. Just the way I asked for it. God is amazing, cuando le sirves y le eres fiel a el!! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! :)
